Subject: Gerardo leaves hospital tomorrow!

Wow!  What a day.  Today Mark, friends Dave and Leslie, our 4 children, and myself brought all the things for the apartment for Gerardo and set up house.   We scoured everything with bleach, no surface has been untouched by our cleaning power.

Tomorrow morning after 10am Gerardo is free to leave the hospital.   So he will come home to his new home.  The apartment is clean, so close to the hospital, and ready for him and Antonio.  We are so thankful to those churches and individuals that have helped in this effort.  Thank you.  Daily we praise God for his faithfulness and the body of Christ.

Gerardo is doing very well.  Today the catheter and central line came out.  He is still urinating regulary.  All of his tests look great.  He will go back in this next week on Tuesday and Friday.  We are believing for good reports and that it will not be long until Gerardo is back in Siguatepeque, a resident of the once ¨lonely house¨.   Isn´t it amazing how God takes care of our needs before we even know what we need.  He had a plan for this house.  We wanted it to help Ada, He wanted it to be a clean, new home for Gerardo.  A place where he can be with us.  We pray it will not be long that he will have to live in Tegucigalpa, but we are set.

I will post as to how his first night out went!
