We broke the news to Fernando and Arnol about their mother. Fernando, being the oldest (nine years), had the most memories and therefore expressed the loss with tears. Arnol was likely no more than three when he was taken from his mother and had been taken before, so there was not much history there. He did not shed a tear. Our banner photo above has a picture of the boys sitting in a chair in front of the mountains. Arnol is sitting on the far right, Fernando is sitting next to him. Carlitos (not pictured) was one year old at time of separation. We are waiting near the airport for Paula and Hannah´s flight to arrive. We came to the Internet to check flight status (there are no monitors with flight status in airport). The flight will be 30 minutes late and then another 15 minutes or so of getting through customs. We are thankful to have our family complete again after two months of separation. Tonight we plan on spending the night in Comayagua before returning to the boys´ home. Thanks and blessings to all of our family and friends in Texas for the help with Hannah and Paula while they were there. God bless the orthodontist that installed Hannah´s orthodontic appliance free of charge. We only had to pay for the appliance, which was constructed somewhere else. (Strange thinking of an appliance describing something that goes in your mouth or body). This week is "Semana Santa" (Holy Week) in Honduras. This week leads up to Good Friday and Easter. Schools are not in session this week. Businesses shutdown Thursday for the weekend. Good Friday is celebrated here while Easter is barely a blip on the radar. We shared some Easter traditions last year and will probably do the same this year. Swimming is usually the highlighted activity of the week. Last year we went to the public pool. This year we might just jump in our pila (10x10x4 foot water tank).
