Thanks again to all of our friends that came for a visit. The visits are always too short!     Special thanks to Lauren for her extended stay and mucha ayuda aqui!     In addition to improving the farm, we have a few big projects on the horizon. We want to open a hardware store somewhere in our local area so that people in the three nearest neighborhoods do not need to travel to the city to get a few nails, pvc or a bag of cement. We've been traveling to the city in the ease of our car but it's a 30 minute round trip. 95% of the people here travel by bus or bicycle.     We also want to begin a humble factory to employ the single mothers on the mountain. Pastor Gustavo and Sister Kory have been trying to motivate these same women out of their poverty to begin sewing, baking or anything to earn food money for their children. I believe the time is right for us to come together as a church and provide opportunities for the sake of the children here. We need to pray and think about what would be a good market to tackle and what we will need to begin. Beyond that I don't believe we'll need a heavy investment to get us going. We have a spare oven/stove we shipped down on container last year. That is probably enough to get 2-3 mothers working.
