Subject: Hurricane Aftermath
Message:

Hello,      As I type we are sitting under 60 foot of water. We've been holding our breath for several days and are starting to turn blue.      OK, OK, maybe it wasn't that bad. Actually, the hurricane for us wasn't much more than eerily still rainstorm. The rain came and we kept waiting for the wind but it never started. In fact, we usually have some kind of breeze here but all wind stopped for us about 20 hours before the hurricane rain began. When it all ended, we probably had about as much rain as any other storm gave us and a lot of fog. I'm thinking hurricanes don't climb mountains very well. The eye of the storm never left Nicaragua, probably 150-200 miles south of us.     Yesterday I picked up some visitors from Keller. David and Rhanda Dunning are considering moving to full time missions work in Honduras. They are both corporate lawyers although Rhanda is a full time home schooling stay at home mother. David is still doing the easy work as a corporate lawyer. :-)
